I had the wonderful opportunity to workout in Charlotte, NC at Heroic Fitness with some incredibly committed people. It was a delight to be with them. As I celebrate this year of fifty, I’m finding that I’m only interested in blissful experiences and this was definitely one of them. I’d been diagnosed with chronic tendinitis and mild arthritis last year. Working out had become one of my greater challenges of the day, but those of you who know me, know that a challenge is what drives me to succeed.
So I walked into Heroic fitness with my game face on and my pre-stretched body, ready to tackle the challenge everyone had been raving about. I took each exercise as a moment of timely bliss, one that would never happen again. I forged ahead as if this was my only chance to breathe in the air of exhilaration and live life on the edge of my strength. At the end, it was an amazing physical push. No pain, all gain. I looked up and spoke “who’s got this” and the man above said, “You got dis my child. You always have!”
I loved it and my body thanked me for it.
Flaunting fifty and fabulous is my motto. Here’s to bliss – One BadAss Living Incredibly Sexy and Sassy!!!!
